Where to Get To-Go Cocktails Under Quarantine

So A Girl’s Guide to Drinking Alone has temporarily become A Girl’s Guide to Drinking At Home because we are now all social distancing and self-quarantining in this time of a global pandemic. Heavy stuff. Seems like we could use a drink. I mean, liquor stores are considered essential, right? Luckily, a number of bars and restaurants are offering to-go cocktails, either for pickup, delivery or both. So if we can’t go to the bar, at least the bar can come to us in some small way. Support a local business while drinking a craft cocktail in sweatpants? Don’t mind if I do.
Girl’s Guide has been reviewing and featuring bars for four years, and these bars need our help now more than ever. So here is a (small, by no means complete) list of places in New York City that are here for us, supplying us with that all-important cocktail fix.
